About our Programs

ASAP members and  member organizations adhere to the highest standards of safety and educational quality in their programs. All programs for pre-teens must adhere to the ASAP Guidelines for After-School Programs. As a benefit of membership in ASAP, members may list their programs here and include a link here to their own websites. Please keep in mind that our listings may not include every program offered by each organization. Also, ASAP can make no guarantee about the suitability of any particular program for your child. Please note the age limits, course prerequisites, and any refund or cancellation restrictions listed by the sponsoring organization.

Childcare versus Aftercare

Childcare programs must be licensed by the state of Maryland. After-school programs are not intended to provide regular childcare, and so are not covered by the state childcare licensing laws. To find childcare, contact your local Children's Board.
